New estimates for the 2015-2016 school year were acquired from the California Department of Education (replacing estimates from the 2013-14 school year).
Note: Beginning with the 2014-15 school year, students were tested using the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). Students in previous years were tested using the California Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) program. STAR test results and CAASPP results cannot be reliably compared because CAASPP evaluates new standards that emphasize analytical thinking, problem solving and communications skills.
